Aalborg, Denmark – April 28, 2016 – Jysk Fynske Medier and NEWSCYCLE Solutions signed an agreement to install NEWSCYCLE Content at new Jysk Fynske Medier properties and to add users and upgrade existing NEWSCYCLE Content systems to the latest software release.

Jysk Fynske Medier was created at the beginning of 2015 as the result of a merger between Jyske Medier, Fynske Medier and Syddanske Medier. Midtjyske Medier became a part of the group on January 1st, and today, Jysk Fynske Medier is the second-largest media group in Denmark with 13 daily newspapers, 64 weeklies, five radio stations and a number of news websites.

Some of the media properties were using NEWSCYCLE Content before the merger, and this agreement enables Jysk Fynske Medier to standardize the entire group on the NEWSCYCLE platform. The decision to select NEWSCYCLE’s content management system as the central source of content for all platforms is the result of a Jysk Fynske Medier project aligning work processes and routines.

The NEWSCYCLE Content partnership agreement also includes NEWSCYCLE Reporter Client, which provides even more system flexibility and extends digital publishing capabilities. The HTML5-based application connects to NEWSCYCLE Content via mobile devices and makes it easier to distribute content through all channels and devices.

The agreement also includes NEWSCYCLE’s Content Planner, which allows for multiplatform sharing and distribution of content and pages.

“We had a meticulous process to find the right solution for a complex installation. Furthermore, we wanted to streamline and align processes in order to create a flexible organization ready to take on market challenges. We found this with NEWSCYCLE,” said Per Westergård, Chief Editor at Jysk Fynske Medier.

“Jysk Fynske Medier was looking for a strategic partner for the creation, sharing and distribution of content for their numerous media and platforms. We are happy that such an important player on the Danish media market has chosen NEWSCYCLE as a partner,” said Jonas Bringle, Vice President EMEA Sales.

Installation has started and is expected to run until 2017.
